Repairs & Maintenance:
David Delafield
Repairs - Price List
Here at Prairie Violins our aim is to provide for the needs of local stringed instruments students. We are fully equipped to care for basic repairs that students may require. Routine tasks in our shop include re-gluing open seams, cutting new bridges, set-up adjustments, pegfitting, rehairs and bow maintenance.

All repairs are completed by our trained stringed instrument technician- David Delafield. David has trained with several well respected Luthiers and Bowmakers in order to provide professional service for your instruments. His teachers include: Eilert Rebne, Michael Vann and Horst Kloss.
Please refer to the partial list of common services that are available.

With Naomi's 30 years of teaching experience, we are also able to help you select the appropriate chin-rest / shoulder rest combination to best fit your body type and playing needs.

As a professional musician, Naomi is very aware of our skills and limitations in providing repair and servicing for your instruments. If your maintenance needs are beyond our routine scope of practice, we are happy to refer complicated repairs to another capable luthier here in Alberta.
